ECAASU’s Campus Ambassadors 2011-2012 Thank you for a great conference, Duke University! Congratulations Columbia University on winning the bid for ECAASU 2013. This year’s workshops covered APIA sexuality, responses to hate, being undocumented, social media, LGBTQ issues, self-defense, empowerment and resistance, and a plethora of other fantastic topics. More than 900 students from over 20 campuses came and represented their communities to discuss and find solutions to issues we face on a daily basis. Bao Phi, Joseph Vincent, and Hari Kondabolu performed to a dazzled audience. Floyd Mori, Ryan Takemiya, and Michelle Sohn rocked our worlds. We got down at the gala and at the after-party. Congratulations to Bryan Lozano for winning roundtrip tickets with Southwest Airlines. The food in Durham was AMAZING, so props to Justin for showing me the food trucks and fantastic authentic food (and for being awesome and kickass in general! Tumblr friends unite!) Major thanks to the ECAASU National Board and Conference Board for putting this all together!
